But meanwhile, the steps below at least made my new PC useable. I really HOPE that ASUS continues to work and fix these problems. Here are the steps that I took which eliminated MOST but not all of the problems. I've seen a lot of people complain about sound problems (lagging, static, noise, pops, etc.) on their new ASUS Z690-xx based builds with Realtek ALC4080/ALC4082 audio chip, especially with Windows 11 for some reason.
